I just clicked on this link, I know it was written in August, but still. My guy, J, lived in Austin for ten years and moved back a few years ago. His drummer brother has lived there for about 20. I can’t wait to go with him sometime and check it out. He played piano in bands, dueling piano bars, taught piano, etc. It sounds SO cool and this made me more excited to go check it out! Mainly for the music scene but I know there is alot more to see and do (never been to any part of Texas)
I check out your blog when I’m about to go on a trip (been doing that quite a bit lately) or thinking of planning the next one, and I saw your post on Reykjavik in the trip of the month section… I just went there in January, was blown away, and wrote about the food (which was 98% of what blew me away). We went to Gulfoss, Geyser, and the Blue Lagoon… it was all amazing, but the food at FishMarket stole the show!
