The Littlest Angel, Revisited

The last time I saw this one, she looked like this:

Now, six months later, she’s quite a bit chattier and a couple pounds heavier, which no doubt have settled mostly on her head, and bypassed the walking phase entirely, moving straight to a full-on sprint. Behold, at 18 months to the day:

That, folks, is a Toddler Hipster in the Making, aka McKayla Yates Rawlinson. And because she’s clearly so advanced for her age—and because, who doesn’t love seeing a tot channel Miley Cyrus?—let’s wind her up and watch her do party tricks, shall we?

And because we, her keepers, clearly dig the group role of puppeteer, here’s another—second time, same as the first; a little bit louder and a little bit worse.

(If I had properly functioning ovaries, I’m sure they’d have been throbbing after this weekend. Alas, my instincts are more that of an aunt than a mother, and I’ll just remain fulfilled getting to see McK every chance her mama will let me.)
