I agree with your point about couples that travel together stay together – my husband is my favorite travel companion. I find that whenever we go on vacation together we get even more closer, despite being in each other’s faces 24/7.

I can’t wait to see pics from your trip to Guatemala/El Salvador. My husband’s family is from El Salvador, and we’ve always talked about visiting together in the future. As part of our itinerary I’d also love to cross over into Guatemala and explore Mayan ruins. I’ve been obsessed ever since seeing Apocalypto!

Have fun on your trip. And happy birthday to your mom. Is it a Southern thing to say that one is 29? Because last week when my dad’s older sister celebrated her birthday, she told she just turned 29 — again.
